Van Cleef & Arpel was founded towards the end of the 19th century; after a young girl named Estelle Arpels – the daughter of a dealer in precious stones – met a boy named Alfred Van Cleef, the son of a stone-cutter. Today, the French Maison produces some of the finest jewellery in the world. Featuring lucky motifs in miniature form since 2007, the label’s Sweet Alhambra collection is a light and delicate edit.
