Four easy ways to beat denim fatigue

The simplest (and let’s face it, most industrious) way to avoid a denim ‘Groundhog Day’ situation is to try something that isn’t blue or black once in a while. Scandi label Blanche is onto a winner with its lilac denim co-ords. Wear yours together with a bright tee underneath, or try the jacket or jeans solo with something neutral, and hey presto: you’ve just tripled your outfit options.

Sometimes, the best way to shake off style lethargy is to up the ante with something mega. This jacket by Levi’s diffusion label Levi’s Made & Crafted takes distressed denim to a whole new level with its ripped-up fabric, trailing sleeves and cropped shape. The main rule of thumb this season? Don’t feel boxed in to wearing just one frayed item at a time – ripped-hem jeans look great with a distressed jacket and a holey T-shirt. You rebel, you.

Did you know that this summer marks the 50^th anniversary of Woodstock?
