This rare vintage from
Leoville Barton’s eastern St. Julien wine appellation, spanning 48 hectares of vineyards, is a medium-bodied wine boasting a trio of cabernet sauvignon, merlot and cabernet franc grapes. Each plays its part, couple with the gravely-clay soils of the vineyards, to offer a refined palate of cedar, sandalwood and dried herbs. Its overall introverted profile is best enjoyed with smoked duck or lamb.
