Is it possible to have an affinity for a decade you never actually lived through? Well, that seems to the case for Maje. The Parisian label might have set up shop back in 1988, but it certainly knows how to capture the spirit of the 70s and all its sartorial delights – including the waistcoat. Bringing the silhouette to SS22 is this Bouty iteration, which are not only cut from faded denim, but topped with braided trims all along the silhouette and at the patch pockets, too. Being a modern reimagining, it’s whipped up with eco-conscious organic cotton and a hint of stretch.
