After falling in love with his wife, Marguerite Blessington, Alfred D’ORSAY decided to make it his mission to create a fragrance that could perfectly summarise his affections. The result? His eponymous perfumery label. Since its inception in 1830, the French brand has expanded to create homeware such as the 16:45 Mine de rien candle. Infused with wild rose, blackcurrant, iris and leather, it’s designed to evoke the feelings of when you spend the first night with a loved one and the shivers it sends down your spine.
