While Max Mara’s SS23 runway show was an ode to Riviera style circa the 1920s, the Rossana dress also draws artistic inspiration from the works of Picasso. The calf-skimming silhouette is imagined in stretchy cotton and swathed in a Cubism-style pattern. Boasting a waistline-defining belt and voluminous skirt, thanks to the horizontal dart, this midi is primed and ready for perusing art galleries and is a masterpiece in its own right.
