When Italian doctor Osea Perrone bought 180 acres of land near the top of Monte Bello Ridge, he couldn’t have imagined the winery would become one of California’s most lauded vineyards. Continuing with his legacy, the winery creates this Montebello bottle. Combining a fruity nose and earthy aroma, it ends with a subtly spiced anise palette. We’re drinking this one while watching the sunset over the Santa Cruz mountains.
