Considering that Arc'teryx takes its name from Archaeopteryx Lithographica, the first reptile to develop the feathers for flight, we're hardly surprised at how innovative the Canadian brand's outdoor garb is. The shell Atom jacket, in particular, gets our attention thanks to its insulation, breathability, wind and weather resistance, and packability.
