Orlebar Brown was founded in 2007 by photographer Adam Brown. Drawn to the charm of the 1960s poolside aesthetic, Brown was inspired by Slim Aarons's iconic photographs of both the French Riviera and Florida's Palm Beach. Picture a golden age of leisure: pastel shades, fitted linen shirts and mid-century glamour. In the beginning, the label set about designing its now distinctive men's swim shorts, featuring quick-drying material and easily adjustable side fasteners. Since then, the range has expanded to offer a full complement of resort pieces, such as polos and smart shorts.
