Pantherella socks have been crafted on the same street in Leicester, England since 1937. Originally established as Midland's Hosiery Mills and specialising in women's hosiery, the brand has since transformed to make premium socks. The founder, Louis Goldschmidt, set out to change the bulky, uncomfortable socks that dominated the 40s. He worked closely with a local machinist to produce an innovative sock-making machine that revolutionised the industry.
