Legendary fashion house Rabanne has been breaking the mould ever since its launch in 1966. Were it not for the Spanish Civil War, the brand's striking clothing and accessories might have borne a very different moniker: the eponymous designer was originally born Francisco Rabaneda y Cuervo but changed his name when he arrived in France after fleeing the conflict.
