The Kooples Women's Leather Jackets

A women’s leather jacket from The Kooples is the ultimate combination of Gallic nonchalance and London energy. The French fashion house was founded in Paris in 2008 by three brothers, Alexandre, Laurent and Raphael, who happen to be the sons of Tony and Georgette Elicha – owners of Comptoir des Cotonniers. Clearly, style runs in the family.

The brand first shot to fame after making couple's outfits cool (hence the name), championing a new kind of androgynous style. The Kooples is pretty much single-handedly responsible for making a fashion moment out of stealing your other half's clothes, with ad campaigns featuring a selection of real-life partners with killer dress sense.

The label is best known for its black leather jackets, which come with a side order of rock'n'roll attitude. This is particularly true for The Kooples' leather biker jackets, which feature asymmetric silver-toned hardware. The outerwear comes in a range of silhouettes, from vintage-inspired fringed designs to oversized bikers and cropped styles. But it's the materials that the brand uses that really set them apart. Crafted from butter-soft lambskin leather, slipping into one of these pieces feels like receiving a caress from your lover – trust the Parisians to make that happen.
