The brand was founded by Chrissie Rucker in 1994. A clue for her vision is in the name: she sought to create a label specialising in brilliant-white homeware. The British businesswoman wanted to deliver pieces that were made to last and would bring pleasure to life's simple moments. Over the decades, what began as a twelve-page mail-order brochure has developed into a sought-after international label. 

Today, The White Company's devotion to ivory and milky hues remains unchanged; snow-inspired tones are the mainstay of our bedroom collection, from bedsheets to pillow slips.
