Situated in Rio Negro, the southernmost region of South America, is a winery called Bodega Chacra. The growing process is all about respecting the climate and terroir – plus all the life that goes on underneath the soil – by using organic and biodynamic methods, with bottles like this pinot noir the result. Harvested from vines planted in 1955, it offers crushed bilberry and cherry on the palate with smoky and mineral undertones.
