Olivier Rousteing has been Creative Director of
Balmain for eight years now, and he’s made plenty of changes to the label’s aesthetic; this season? It’s an all new logo launch – and, of course, there’s a T-shirt to act as a billboard. Casual cotton-jersey shapes this slouchy layer and forms a background for the flocked handwritten branding that scrawls across the chest. Lightly outlined, it’s a simple platform for the iconic moniker.
