Inspired by the sombre scene of an Italian Contessa confined to the attics of her palace while her city crumbles, Ginori 1735 crafts the Palazzo Centauro scented candle whose scent is designed to paint a metaphorical picture as it burns. How? Well, opening with notes of woody incense, it represents the fires that obscure the Salute Basilica church. And from the base, notes of cedarwood, birch tar, and patchouli are infused in a nod to the aromas of the attic that the Contessa is trapped in.
