The Chivas Brothers have been producing
Royal Salute whisky since 1953 (back then it was a tribute to Queen Elizabeth II), but this year marks a limited edition release. The Kew Palace ceramic flagon holds a blended whisky that’s aged for 28 years (longer than usual 21 year editions). Floral and aromatic on the nose, this full-bodied and fruity dram reflects flavours found in the palace’s garden kitchen. It’s best sipped and served short, on the rocks.
