Critic Suzy Menkes named
Haider Ackermann as a “rare hope-for-the-future”. Showcasing his perfectionism from a young age (he was even expelled from the Royal Academy of Fine Art Antwerp because of it), the Paris-based maker crafts these skinny trousers from soft fleece wool. Skimming straight through the leg, they’re creased through the centre for a clean-cut outline – not what we expected from the man who’s renowned for draping.
