Roksanda Illinčić has always harboured a love for the arts, so it’s hardly surprising that each of her collections references art or artists. For AW20 she took inspiration from Bangladeshi artist Rana Begum, whose installation hung above the runway, for pieces like the
Noa cape. Spun from merino wool imbued with colour-blocked panels, it’s shaped to an asymmetric silhouette with a detachable funnel neck. Layer it over a leather dress, we say.
