Converse's legendary All Star basketball shoes have remained largely unchanged for nearly a century. The brand's low-top version - introduced in the 1950s - is set on a flat vulcanised rubber sole heated to 170˚C in the sealing process, which requires every pair to be cosntructed from heat-resistant materials. This leather design has a colour-coordinated sole, gold foil branded tongue with tonal lace eyelets and signature cotton-canvas cloth lining.
