With a name like Hernö, you know this distillery calls a Scandi country home. Crafted in Sweden, the Old Tom gin is blended from the same spirit as the producer’s dry gin variety, but this time, it’s swirled with an extra serving of Meadowsweet during the distillation process and, after it’s diluted down to 43%, a sprinkling of sugar is added. These sweeter notes lift the rest of the tipple’s flavour profile that marries woody spiced notes with a floral finish.
