Named for actress Jodie Foster – who was pictured shielding herself from the paparazzi using her Bottega Veneta handbag – the Mini Jodie style is a rather dreamy amalgam of new and old house tropes. Casual elements, such as the slouchy sack-like shape and knotted finish, show the influence of then-Creative Director Daniel Lee. At the same time, the brand's double-faced intrecciato weave keeps the bag firmly grounded in grand Venezian tradition.
