Italy has never been lacking in great exports, from fashion to food, but we have to admit one of our current favourites is its wine. A case in point? The 2019 Vigneto Bordini Barbaresco from La Spinetta. The first sip of this deep ruby red wine reveals an explosion of flavour on the palate, with sweet red fruit, delicate roses and a constant undercurrent of oak. If you can resist drinking it straight away, this bottling will only get better with age.
