How did Karu Research get its name? The New Delhi-based brand takes its moniker from the Sanskrit word for artisan. We think that’s a fitting name for a label that employs skilled local craftspeople and utilises time-honoured Indian techniques. This boxy-fit blazer is a fine example of its meticulous methods; handwoven from cotton using a loom, dyed using all-natural pigments and embroidered with intricate floral patterns that seem to spring from the patch pockets.
