Dedicated to preserving India’s artisanal heritage, Karu Research has blossomed from a student passion project to a global label, collaborating with the country’s master craftspeople to stitch each smile-inducing style. The latest piece to leave their hardworking hands is this pair of pleated trousers. Spun from a traditional Zari, they sit just above the hips before falling to a straight-leg silhouette. As for the liquid-like silk construction? It helps this pair shimmer like the glossy scales of snakeskin.
