New York-based designer Rui Zhou launched her namesake label RUI in 2019 with a philosophical approach at its core: to explore the space between imperfection and perfection. Since then, the brand has become viral for its distinctly atypical, finished-yet-unfinished aesthetic, as exhibited by this stretch-knit sleeve. Knitted in stretchy fabric, it’s textured all-over with open cut-outs and bead-embellished trims. Pull it on and see even the most minimal of outfits become otherworldly.
