Self-Portrait’s fun, fanciful spirit often comes to life in the form of floaty numbers dreamt up in delicate fabrics, but AW23 sees Creative Director Han Chong offer his most clean-cut collection yet. This mini dress from the line-up shows us how it’s done in a blazer-style double-breasted silhouette that’s structured with padded shoulders and sharpened with large lapels. The bouclé-textured houndstooth is another nod to traditional tailoring, but it’s reworked with glistening metallic threads to stay true to the British brand’s signature playfulness.
