Alfredo Maestro is from Penafiel in the heart of Ribera del Duero. After growing up amongst the vines, he began winemaking in 1998. Maestro strongly values natural and biodynamic methods, meaning no chemicals or added sulphur. This Garnacha comes from 1,500m above sea level, and is wonderfully perfumed and mineral, with soft red berry fruit, crushed rose petals and a touch of spice, all with a stony mineral streak.
