Carved Oud extrait de parfum by British brand Thameen is based on the unique Oud from the South of India, which was gifted to female royalty as part of the ‘Solah Shringar’ – a 16 stage ritual which marks the super-human presence and godliness of these beings. Angular and sweetly edgy, this top note blends beautifully with cedarwood and guaiac. At the base, a pure patchouli and sun-baked vetiver add depth and warmth polished off by a smooth, temperate musk.
