    Button-down shirts originate from England in 1869, when the collars of polo players' shirts would flap up in the wind as they charged around on horseback. While you won't find people charging around the city on horses much today, this regular-fit shirt from Oscar Jacobson takes inspiration from those bygone days. Cut from linen that's perfect for midsummer garden parties, it's pleated at the cuffs and signed off with box pleats at the back.
