This season, Alaïa is nodding to the maison's illustrious history with its latest ballerina shoes (its founder, Azzedine Alaïa, started his career as a shoemaker in Tuscany). Today, with Creative Director Pieter Mulier under its helm, the Parisian brand still has an impeccable eye for detail, dreaming up eye-catching silhouettes that make up its DNA. Inspired by traditional ballerina shoes, this flat pair is shaped from buttery leather and embellished with a cut-out pattern.
