Each scent from the Hermessence Collection by Hermès is an olfactory poem. Inspired by the floral art of Japanese Ikebana where bouquets are pieced together from very few stems, perfumer Jean-Claude Ellena dreamt up the (aptly named) Rose Ikebana eau de toilette. Sartorially whisking you away to a rose covered in early morning dew, the fragrance plays with the contrast between the delicate, soft petals of its namesake flower and crisp, juicy rhubarb.
