Get the colours you love! Z50 II boasts easy-to-use Picture Control presets that let you style photos and videos in real time as you shoot. A dedicated button takes you straight to the presets and you can streamline that selection to show only your favourites. Go ahead and try different options, all instantly visible through the EVF and on the rear vari-angle screen.

Rich 4K Video
Z50 II captures richly-detailed 4K UHD/30p footage oversampled from 5.6K, delivering greater detail and greater creative flexibility than you would get when filming with a smartphone. Shooting in SDR enables the use of Picture Control or Imaging Recipes while shooting in N-Log embeds more colour information into the data so you get more flexibility to create the look that you want when using editing software. It is also capable of filming 4K/60p in crop mode, or, for ultra-dramatic slow-motion action, can record Full HD 1080 up to 120p.

Elevate Your Vlogs
Z50 II will help you to level up your vlogs with sharper, clearer and more flattering footage. The front-facing vari-angle monitor and touch controls make it easier to start and stop recording. You can also set a timer for 2 or 10 seconds to enable you to ready yourself and make sure you're in frame. If you're on the move, Nikon's powerful Electronic Vibration Reduction (VR) helps to nail steady handheld shots. Intelligent face-and-eye detection will keep the focus on you and provide flattering footage, particularly when paired with NIKKOR Z primes.

Sound Better
Z50 II comes equipped with a 3.5mm stereo mini-pin jack for an external microphone and a 3.5mm headphone jack so you can monitor the output of the microphone. The camera also includes options to further optimise your recording, including wind noise reduction and an onboard attenuator to help prevent distortion when filming in loud environments.
