Haven’t heard the term vermeil before? No problem – Monica Vinader is the best name to get you clued up. The label uses the technique to ensure your jewellery is crafted to the highest quality by plating sterling silver with a thick layer of yellow gold (unlike regular gold plating). It’s the method behind this Vintage necklace, too, and the brand even goes as far as to reduce its carbon emissions by 60% by choosing 100% recycled gold.
