Savini Tartufi has been gathering truffles in Tuscany since the 1920s so it’s fair to say it’s a bit of a connoisseur. Taking the rich, earthy white variety and blending it with nutty Porcini mushrooms to create this cream, the Italian producer has made a match made in foodie heaven. Ready to be spread over toasted ciabatta, stirred into risottos and dolloped over bowls of buttered tagliatelle, infusing every mouthful with a little taste of la dolce vita – belissimo.
