Growing on sandstone, shale and clay soils in South Africa’s Cape South Coast region, the Chardonnay grapes blended to create this JH Meyer Palmiet were organically farmed and handpicked in the early morning. Aged for 10 months in old French oak barrels with some barrels undergoing oxidation, the result is a refreshing vegan and vegetarian wine that swirls with zesty citrus notes, mellowed by oaky aromas.
