What inspired Natalia Alaverdian’s AW20 collection for A.W.A.K.E Mode? Soviet-era Russia sprinkled with cues from Stanley Kubrick’s 2001: A Space Odyssey and this sculptural skirt is just one of the results of this combination. Architecturally crafted to a neat A-line silhouette, it’s stitched together from a woven fabric and cut with dramatic slits that work their way up the centre both at the front and back.
