“Creative, but also pragmatic,” is how Felipe Oliveira Baptista described his design process for
Kenzo’s SS21 collection, and we can certainly see it play out on this shirt. Spun from a blend of cotton and silk, it’s cloaked in a softer take on camouflage print – surely the most pragmatic of patterns. The construction is where the creative side kicks in: note the row of buttons running along the shoulder and the asymmetric collar folded origami-style.
