When it comes to conjuring another collection, Sacai’s Creative Director, Chitose Abe, approaches each design like an architect, splicing peacoats with puffer jackets and stitching shoulder straps on the outer seams of shirts. Her latest hybrid creation? This offbeat blazer. Crowned with contrasting pincer-sharp peak labels, this style is shaped with elongating padded shoulders before its composed of origami-like pleats that descend its panels, fanning to a flared silhouette.
