We can picture exactly where we’d don the Brielle dress from Puerto Rican designer Erika Peña: it would be on the tropical island of Bali. Beachy and bohemian, it’s whisked together from no less than 16 metres of breezy hand-dyed cotton (perfect for humid temperatures then) and shaped with billowing sleeves and a voluminous tiered skirt, which, we’ve been informed takes 15 hours to create. All we need is a pair of sandals and a beach.
