Twelve generations behind the Henri Giraud make every vintage one of a kind. The family estate is nestled in the Aÿ region, where its grapes benefit from the chalky Grand Cru terroir in Champagne’s Argonne forest. Vinified for 12 months in French oak barrels, the MV17 is a particularly complex cuvée. Notes are like a walk through a pastry shop on a late winter morning, with baked fruit pie, plums, bread dough, crystallised honey and ground clove on the nose.
