When thinking about hot summers in the South of France, clothes featuring broderie anglaise and made of linen-like fabrics often come to mind – after all, you need light and airy pieces to withstand the heat. Despite hailing from Paris, Isabel Marant Étoile thought the same when designing the Layona top. Cut from fine cotton into a relaxed silhouette (balmy weather-apropos, we say), this piece has pleating details below its round neckline and is finished with a frill trim.
