When it comes to chunky trainers, New Balance sets the bar high with the retro 990v5 iteration. If the name isn’t enough of a clue, this pair is the most recent upgrade to the brand’s fifth-generation signature style. Constructed from soft suede with breathable mesh, they’re set on cushioned soles to add a spring to your step and topped with padded collars for extra ankle support. As for branding?
