Where did Ray-Ban’s name originate? It started with the first pair of sunglasses the label produced for pilots. Banning the sun’s rays from passing through the lenses and affecting their sight, they put two and two together and the title was born. Carrying on with tradition, the Erika sunnies are fitted with a tinted lens with a blue-light filter shielding you from any bright rays which may get in your way. Complete with an ultra-lightweight frame, the Italian label signs of the style with its iconic signature etched on the side.
