Whatever the game, or movie for that matter, the BenQ X500i produces brilliant colour and detail. BenQ’s CinematicColor technology delivers 84% of the DCI-P3 colour space for vibrant hues and natural colour. HDR-PRO maximises the HDR format for the most dynamic black rendering – perfect for when you need to spot hidden detail in the shadows.

4LED for long-lasting quality
BenQ uses an auto-balance colour system for consistent, natural colour over the projector’s lifetime. With up to 30,000 hours life span and no lamp replacement, this is truly a longer lasting projector. Even after ten years play (used for 5 hours a day on average), the colour, brightness and contrast will still be at peak performance.

Super-responsive
With input lag as low as just 4.16ms, the X500i is always quick to respond. With support for various refresh rates, this BenQ projector suits many gaming formats. In addition to 4K/60Hz and 1080p/120Hz, it also supports the increasingly popular 1440p/120Hz refresh rate. For the lowest input lag possible, it also supports 240Hz.

Dedicated game modes
Three, dedicated game modes optimises the projector’s settings for the best response with your choice of game. RPG gets the most from Role-Play gaming, with the emphasis on rich, cinematic colour and intense, orchestral sound. FPS (First-Person Shooter) Mode reveals hidden enemies in the shadows, with enhanced virtual surround stereo sound making them easier to locate, too. Finally, SPG Mode gets the best from Esports. Vibrant green grass and distinctive kit colour is complimented by clear announcers’ voices and the thrilling roar of a crowd.

Flexible installation – ideal for use in smaller rooms
With a throw ratio of 0.69-0.83 and 1.2x zoom, the X500i is idealfor projecting large images in smaller rooms. An impressive 100” image is possible with the projector just 1.5-1.8m away. Opt for a mighty 150 screen and the projector sits between 2.3-2.7m away – still easily achievable in most rooms.

Smart TV doesn’t get much smarter than when there’s Android TV on tap. Google-certified Android TV accesses Google Play’s store of over 5000 Android apps to bring you the content you want. Check out movies, box sets, TV shows, news, sports and games – all under one roof.

Wide range of connectivity
Twin HDMI sockets are ideal for connecting your games console and Blu-ray player or set-top TV box. One of the sockets is equipped with eARC, making it ideal for linking to one of the new generations of soundbars or AVRs with Dolby Atmos audio. For older soundbars and sound systems, there are optical digital and 3.5mm analogue audio outputs, too. USB-A and USB-C interfaces keep your devices charged, with the USB-A socket also suitable for media playback.

Although using a soundbar or dedicated home cinema system will give you the best audio response, the built-in system is a step-up from most projectors. BenQ’s CinematicSound utilises MAXXAudio DPS dynamic enhancement for a more spacious and dynamic sound.
