When the time came to dream up its AW22 collection, Polish label The Mannei looked to the decade most renowned for its fierce, unapologetic sartorial penchants: the 1980s. Borrowing from the era's trends (minus the massive hair, of course), the brand imagines the Sara jeans. Tailored to a cinching mid-rise waist, they're cut to a straight leg silhouette, slashed with rips at the knees and doused in a healthy dose of fading – a nod to the period's grittiness, no doubt.
