Asymmetric silhouettes, frayed edges, spliced fabrics and raw seams are some of the techniques Chinese-born, London-based designer
Wen Pan uses to convey her exploration of “the beauty of brokenness”, which runs through all of her work. Spun from cotton-twill, these trousers are part of an exclusive capsule collection for Selfridges. Detailed with contrasting stitching, they taper gently through the leg, culminating in raw hems. Team with one of the label’s off-kilter tops in an icy hue, we say.
