The year is 2031, and
Balenciaga’s Demna Gvasalia has turned from Creative Director to Game Designer; well, that’s if the label’s AW21 allegorical campaign, Afterworld: The Age of Tomorrow, is anything to go by. Inspired by a dystopian projection of the future, he presented pieces like this jumper: an intentionally shredded and holey rendition of its watermark logo knit designed to look as though it’s been worn to the point of falling apart.
