Japanese designer
Yohji Yamamoto is synonymous across the globe with his avant-garde silhouettes. For AW21, his eponymous label takes its cues from historical affairs described as the “rebel yells” by Vogue. When it comes to these trousers, it was actor-turned-criminal Charlie Chaplin who inspired the pair. Spun from pure wool, they’re characterised by their expressive balloon silhouette that falls to a cropped, drawstring hem.
