Sébastien Meunier’s Spring ’20 collection for
Ann Demeulemeester took an unconventional approach to tailoring: pieces were spliced and cut, layered and loose but neatly structured. Keeping the construction simple, the designer shapes these trousers with straight legs and tops them with a mid-rise waistband. The difference here, though, is the fabric; rather than piece them together from an opaque yarn, he opts for lightweight linen. We’re dubbing them the definition of easy breezy.
